Current Funding Opportunities

The Stranahan Foundation’s Fall 2026 Early Childhood Education RFP is now open.

This opportunity supports early childhood education providers with existing professional development systems that are seeking to strengthen and improve how they support early childhood educators.

Funding is intended for focused projects that strengthen one area of a professional development system, such as coaching, career pathways, educator supports, implementation quality, or use of data and feedback.

Eligible applicants include:

• Nonprofit childcare centers
• Family childcare centers or networks
• Head Start and Early Head Start providers 
• Preschool and pre-K operators
• Public school districts
• Organizations must currently serve children from birth to age five.
